Q: Who are the Farmyard Darlings? A: Kim Berry and Carole Sinclair, a small team of two with big ideas and endless energy. Both Lafayette, CA residents -- Berry, a San Francisco, East Bay native and Sinclair originally from La Jolla, California. They are expert sleuths in unearthing vintage treasures and creating custom furniture from reclaimed wood.
Q: Where is Farmyard Darlings located? A: We are located on 3295 Mt. Diablo Blvd in Lafayette at the rear of the Mt. Diablo Nursery adjacent to The Lafayette Park Hotel. (Formerly the venue of the much loved Harry’s House.)
Q: What are your hours? A: We are open Tuesday through Sunday from 10-4.
Q: How long will it take to receive my online purchase? A: Once your order has been processed and payment secured, it will take 5-7 business days before your package is received.
Q: What is our Return Policy? A: Farmyard Darlings has a detailed Returns & Exchanges Policy which is available on our website and the link can be found at the footer of each website page.
Q: How did you come up with the name? A: The name ‘Farmyard Darlings’ came up during an initial brainstorming session when flipping through vintage cloth children’s books from the 1940’s. There was a book about adorable farmyard baby animals and we just thought that it was so ‘Darling!’ And we both commented “Farmyard Darlings would be such a great name for a company!!”
Q: How long has Farmyard Darlings been in business? A: Since November of 2010. We were a pop up shop until the Summer of 2011. Officially became an LLC in 2012.
Q: What other services does Farmyard Darlings provide? A: We work with stagers, realtors, designers, event planners, and individuals who want custom furniture built and/or rented. Our house visit services are called “GET ‘ER DONE” and is a very popular service where we add a little bit of farmilicous flair into all different styles of homes is very popular.
